How we handle your data.
Go Upstream is run by Shriyam Bugga. This page covers the files you send for an analysis, what this website collects, and the terms of a sample or alpha run. Questions go to shriyam@goupstream.media.
Files you send
- What we ask for
- Daily spend by campaign and daily revenue totals by sales channel, as described in the input spec. Aggregated numbers, not customer records.
- Customer data
- Not needed: no names, emails or order-level records. If a file includes them by mistake, we delete it and ask for a clean one.
- Where it is kept
- In a shared folder set up for your account, visible only to you and us.
- Who sees it
- Shriyam Bugga and one analyst who runs the model, both under confidentiality.
- How long we keep it
- Deleted 30 days after your readout, unless you continue with recurring runs. Sooner if you ask.
- What it is used for
- Your analysis only. It is never pooled with other clients’ data, used for benchmarks, or shared without your written permission.
- NDA
- Happy to sign yours before you send anything.
This website
- Analytics
- GoatCounter counts visits without cookies or personal data. Microsoft Clarity shows how pages are used, through heatmaps and session recordings with form inputs masked, and it sets cookies. Clarity’s data is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement.
- Booking a call
- Calls are booked through Cal.com, which sends the invite. Your answers to the booking questions come to us and are used to prepare for the call.
- Forms
- When you request a sample report, your entries reach us through Formspree and are used only to reply to you.
- If you email us, we keep the thread to respond and follow up. Ask and we will delete it.
Terms of a sample or alpha run
- Sample reports
- Sample reports use synthetic data and composite brands. They are not any client’s results.
- What an analysis is
- A model projection of how revenue relates to spend in your history. It is not a guarantee of future results and not financial advice.
- Alpha
- Go Upstream is in alpha. Every run is reviewed by a person and the method is still improving. You decide what changes in your accounts; we never access your ad platforms.
- Ownership
- You own your data and your report.
